Our Focus as an Organization:

The Social Project is an [entrepreneurial] non-profit organization that was created to be a
strong support to the recovery and (re)growth of New Orleans. 

We provide technical support, capacity building and skill development to businesses, non-profits and new entrepreneurs. We also match businesses with local service vendors in areas such as web-design, social media, computer training, and organizational development.

Utilizing an innovative business model to be financially self-sustained, not traditionally associated with the non-profit sector, we are providing creative business support solutions that help to further our local business economy, which strengthen our neighborhoods, and provide operational revenue that support community programming focused to enhance the lives of our New Orleans residents.
